Seeing and Understanding Asana

"As practitioners of yoga we often become perplexed about what we are looking at in our own body when we are in an asana. It does not look right or feel right, but I am not quite sure what I see or how to change it. Also sometimes when teaching we observe the students but become bogged down with what we are looking at and what we should choose to teach on. The object of this workshop is to strengthen your proficiency in interpreting what you see and how that new seeing can bring change in the asana. During this 2-day workshop the skill of seeing will develop through asana practice, observation of self and others, discussing and applying. All levels are welcome."

SADHANA PRACTICE IMMERSION

We will explore all aspects of yoga which will including a well-rounded practice of all categories of asana (postures), foundational pranayama (life force regeneration), yoga philosophy and tools to to build a personal practice. Open to all students with 6 months of more of experience in the Iyengar yoga method.
