I signed up for the Rainbow Kids yoga training in Austin without any big expectations.
I didn't know anyone who had completed the program and didn't know a whole lot about the program itself. Additionally, I wasn't sure that I wanted to teach kids yoga.
I was immediately impressed the first day of training by the energy of the group and our fabulous instructor, Amanda McFadyen. Amanda is one of the most inspiring people I have met and taught us so much, all through fun group activities. Even more valuable than the knowledge I received about kids yoga was the ability to connect with my inner child and remember how FUN yoga can be.
After my weekend with RKY in Austin I am inspired and empowered to take ownership of my life, share yoga with as many people as possible (including kids!) and follow my dreams (which are possible!).I also feel confident that with the giant manual of resources RKY has provided, the network of teachers I can connect with, and support from the friends I have made that I can now go out and be successful teaching and inspiring kids of all ages.
